Patient Care Coordinator
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is a valuable role, as the PCC is our first contact with our patients, creating their first impression of Manus. The PCC is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Welcome patients and visitors to the practice
- Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism
- Review office for a neat and professional appearance
- Check daily schedule for accuracy and post in all treatment rooms
- Call scheduled patients each day to confirm appointment
- Gather and accurately record insurance information from patients
- Accurately file patient information
- Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time
- Arrange patient charts for the following day’s appointments
- Responsible for new patient calls and follow-up
- Assist in the treatment rooms as needed
- Submit treatment plans for predetermination of benefits
- Prepare and mail claim forms for patients with dental insurance
- Organize supporting documentation for dental insurance claim forms
- Assist in the resolution of problems with third party payers
- Accurately prepare and mail current and overdue billing statements and letters
- Collect payment at time of service
- Call patients with overdue accounts
- Sort, organize and distribute mail
- Send out letters to new patient and referrals
This is an entry-level position in the dental industry. Dental experience is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be energetic, professional and be willing to go the extra mile to assure patient satisfaction. Excellent communication skills and computer experience are required.

Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant prepares patients for oral examinations and assists other dental team members when necessary. The Dental Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Greet and escort patients to treatment rooms
- Explain scheduled treatment to patient
- Set-up and clean treatment room before and after each patient
- Review patient charts for the day
- Accurately prepare trays for treatment according to patient’s treatment plan
- Sterilize instruments
- Maintain Equipment
- Check patient charts and laboratory work orders on a daily basis
- Monitor supplies and inventory
- Assist the doctor/hygienist when necessary
- Prepare necessary treatment materials
- Record dental needs, services rendered, and fees involved
- Call on post-operative patients
- Provide post-treatment instructions and materials to patients
- Take, process, and mount x-rays
- Take alginate impressions, pour-up impressions into models
- Fabricate bleaching trays
- Make temporary crowns
- Prepare cases for shipment to laboratory and check-in returning cases
- Assist Patient Care Coordinator with telephone, filing, processing insurance claims, new patient letters and other administrative duties
The ideal candidate for this position will have 1+ year of dental assisting experience. A certificate in Dental Assisting is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be energetic, professional, and be willing to go the extra mile to assure patient satisfaction. Excellent communication skills and computer experience are required.

The Business Manager oversees and assures that several practices are operating efficiently and profitably. The Business Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Reviews weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with Office Team
- Notify Office Team of inefficiencies at practice
- Assure that Office Team are following Corporate policies and procedures
- Assure that Customer Service and Patient Satisfaction are evident at all practices
- Manage staffing needs at all practices
- Identify and solve problems with Office Team
- Conduct meetings with Office Team on a weekly basis
- Review office financials and production goals with Office Team
- Market the practice to the community
- Train office staff
The ideal candidate for this position will have 5+ years of Office Management experience in a professional dental practice or a strong dental consulting background. This individual will be professional, have the ability to manage several offices and positions of all levels, and be willing to give direction to all levels of management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, financial skills and computer experience are required.

Dental Hygiene Assistant
The Hygiene Assistant works directly with the Hygienist and is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Assist Hygienist in all aspects of patient care
- Greet and seat patients
- Keep hygiene rooms clean and orderly
- Set up operatories for next patient
- Review patient charts for the day with Hygienist
- Work with Patient Care Coordinator to schedule hygiene patients with efficiency
- Relay pertinent information to dentist upon patient exam
- Maintain a supply of inventory for hygiene treatment
- Record a comprehensive periodontal exam on each patient as dictated by the Hygienist
- Explain scheduled treatment to patient
- Expose, process, and mount dental x-rays
- Call on post-operative patients
- Provide post-treatment instructions and materials to patients
- Sterilize instruments
- Use downtime to aid dental team members (packaging instruments, lab duties, filing)
- Record patient treatment notes legibly
- Make patient recall calls to fill hygiene schedule as necessary
- Assist Patient Care Coordinator and Office Manager with telephone, filing, processing insurance claims, new patient letters and other administrative duties when necessary
The ideal candidate for this position will have 1+ year of hygiene assisting experience. The ideal candidate will be energetic, professional and be willing to go the extra mile to assure patient satisfaction. Excellent communication skills are required.

Registered Dental Hygienist
The Hygienist uses preventive, educational, and therapeutic methods for controlling oral diseases to help patients maintain optimal oral health. The Hygienist is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Keep hygiene rooms clean and orderly
- Work with Patient Care Coordinator to schedule hygiene patients with efficiency
- Review patient charts for the day
- Review patient medical and dental history with each patient for accuracy
- Relay pertinent information to dentist upon patient exam
- Maintain a supply of inventory for hygiene treatment
- Document a comprehensive periodontal exam on each patient
- Explain scheduled treatment to patient
- Provide prophylaxis to patients
- Perform scaling, root planning, selective polishing, and topical fluoride applications for designated patients as necessary
- Expose, process, and mount dental x-rays
- Call on post-operative patients
- Provide post-treatment instructions and materials to patients
- Educate patients on dental health, plaque control, oral hygiene and nutrition
- Sort and package instruments by tray for proper sterilization
- Soft Tissue Management
- Monitor hygiene instruments and sharpen when needed
- Use downtime to aid dental team members (packaging instruments, lab duties, filing)
- Record patient treatment notes legibly
- Utilize the intra-oral camera to educate the patient
- Make patient recall calls to fill hygiene schedule as necessary
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 1 year of previous dental hygiene experience. The ideal candidate will be energetic, professional and be willing to go the extra mile to assure patient satisfaction. Excellent communication skills are required.
